Taiwanese Takeout and Other Wisdomy Things

Let me ask you something. Have you ever looked at your life--I mean really  looked at it, sighed, and then asked, "Where the heck did it all go wrong?" Maybe you found that reason, and then fixated on it, or started to make a plan to get back on top. Maybe you just gave up. The number of paths one can take at this point are virtually infinite, yet the question somehow remains:  Why are we so sad about the current state of our lives? If there really are so many options for us in the future, why do we feel constrained? How come we think our lives are forfeit because life didn't turn out the way we wanted? Well, there are a lot of answers, and I don't think there really is one right answer to determine why  we all eventually get to that point where we say, "I dun goofed in this life!" Long story short: It's about me sharing wisdom to help enrich my readers' lives. But the "tl;dr" section isn't nearly as edifying as what's next... HA! Clickbait phrases DO work! I once saw a Facebook page called "Philosophical Takeout", and subscribed to it for a while. It was a decent page, right up until it began doing nothing but post its political agenda--so later on I just left the page. It was a shame, too, because I liked the name and a lot of its prior content before it degraded into the mindless political machine everything seems to be these days. Nonetheless, when the time came to name my blog I decided to... shall we say, liberate the name and make it my own? So why the "Taiwanese" portion? Well, I should start by introducing myself.
